WEF IS LOOKING FOR TALENTED AND DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS LIKE YOU!

WEF seeks volunteers support in education programmes in India, Pakistan and Tajikistan to ensure that the organisation’s mission to help improve the quality and scope of education for the marginalised and poor children is fulfilled.

You could get the opportunity to advise and help in building the implementation strategy for various education interventions, developing the capacity and skills of teachers, and supporting media and advocacy related activities.

Advisor- Educationist

Role Overview: Working on the advisory board with other board members, the Advisor- Educationist will advise on the final design of project interventions which aims to improve learning among children

i) Teacher development and teaching practice;
ii) Enhanced school leadership by head teachers improved coordination and management by local education authorities.
iii) Provide ongoing technical advice and leadership in the implementation of project interventions.
iv) Make regular school and community visits to support the achievement of the programme.
v) Regularly collect data on progress towards achieving programme goals.

Virtual volunteering allows you to commit your time and services away from the physical site of an organization, project, or campaign. Virtual volunteers work over the internet via computer, tablet or phone to provide their skilled services to support a cause that is important to them.

Virtual Volunteering includes donating your virtual time and skills. Instead of being present to volunteer in the “real world,” many people have found their place in the world of virtual volunteering.

ESL Teachers

Role Overview: Working as a Teacher’s Trainer, the volunteer would be required to train the teachers and teach English to a Primary class in a remote town of Chitral KP Pakistan. (Part-Time)

i) Teach a full course, and serve as an advisor.
ii) Support the teachers trained in ESL through our online/ Virtual School.
iii) Select and sequence appropriate materials, resources, and approaches according to the course/content area and audience of learners.
iv) Design, administer, and evaluate a range of formative and summative assessments as appropriate.

Social media promotion and management

Role Overview: Working as a part of our Social Media Team, the volunteer would require to deliver results by creating content that is in line with the mission and vision of the organisation.

i) Create Content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
ii) Share Content on all these social media platform to raise awareness.
iii) Direct and link every post to the website.
iv) Increase traffic and engagement on all social media platforms.

Graphic design, photography

Role Overview: Working as a part of our organization the volunteer would require to create designs and take professional photographs that create awareness about the vision and the work being done by the organisation.

i) To support compelling causes and raise awareness through their photos.
ii) Storytellers through their photography.
iii) Highlight the issues that are being addressed by the organisation.

Website design and supoort

Role Overview: Working as a part of our website design team the volunteer would require to support the lead web developer in various website maintenance tasks.

i) Assist the lead web developer and helps with maintenance and additions to the website.
ii) Work with lead web developer for keeping the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs
iii) Create and design new template for the rapidly growing projects and bring new ideas.
iv) Create back up files and solve code problems.

PR Specialist

Role Overview: Working as a part of our organization the volunteer is required to establish and maintain good-natured, cooperative relationships with the news media

i) Identify target audience and relevant journalists.
ii) Refine the target list.
iii) Keep the list up-to-date.
