100 Bright Beginnings Educators Complete 5-Day Refresher Training at University of Chitral, Pakistan.
Dear Friends and Supporters,
Worldwide Education Foundation (WEF), USA, with implementing partner Foundation to Empower Students (FES) in Pakistan and in collaboration with the University of Chitral, successfully concluded a 5-day refresher training for 100 educators serving in WEF’s Bright Beginnings Early Childhood Learning Centers (ECLCs) across Upper and Lower Chitral.
Strong teachers build strong foundations. Investing in our educators’ continuous growth remains central to WEF’s mission of improving early childhood education in underserved communities.

Over five days, educators took part in interactive workshops and hands-on sessions covering child-centred learning, classroom management, observation techniques, and early childhood best practices. The training was led by Mr. Aftab Karim, Academic and Training Manager, with support from Ms. Sumbella Khan, Research Manager, both leading up Herzing-Daya Research and Learning Hub.
The program closed with a ceremony attended by Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, Vice Chancellor of the University of Chitral, who commended the collaboration between WEF, FES, and the University in strengthening early childhood education.
Today, WEF’s 100 Bright Beginnings ECLCs are reaching thousands of young learners across Chitral — while creating meaningful employment for locally trained women educators. Together, we’re empowering educators and building brighter futures for children in underserved communities.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
