Worldwide Education Fund of The Dallas Foundation, in partnership with AISA Fund of The Dallas Foundation, Sadiq Ali Family and the American University of Central Asia (AUCA), Bishkek Kyrgyzstan is making a profound difference in the lives of talented Tajik students by providing them with financial support to pursue a high-quality university education. AM Rising Star Scholarship program is designed to create a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that fosters personal growth and equips students with the skills and knowledge they need for future success.
The impact of this program is already evident. In the 2023-2024 academic year, 11 out of 12 scholarship recipients successfully completed their studies, achieving an impressive average GPA of 3.45. Building on this success, we have signed an MOU with AUCA in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan for the 2024-2025 academic year to provide scholarships to 15 more students, increasing the total to 27. By supporting these students in their academic and personal journeys, the scholarship program plays a crucial role in fostering a generation of educated, skilled, and engaged individuals.
This program offers a lifeline to those who demonstrate strong academic potential but lack the financial means to access quality education. By covering tuition and associated costs, the scholarship ensures that deserving students can focus on their studies and thrive in an environment that values diversity and excellence. Beyond academics, the program encourages recipients to engage in a variety of extracurricular activities, such as the Stop Motion Animation Club, AIESEC, and the Roof of the World delegation. These experiences enhance leadership skills, cultural understanding, and overall personal development, preparing students to be active and informed global citizens. Students have not only excelled academically but also embraced opportunities for growth outside the classroom. This comprehensive approach to education has empowered them to become future leaders and change-makers in their communities.
