Project Description:
The WEF-Herzing University-MBA Scholarship, a program by the Worldwide Education Fund (WEF) in collaboration with Herzing University, aims to provide educational opportunities for disadvantaged students in India, Pakistan, and Tajikistan. The scholarship enables qualified recipients to enroll in Herzing University’s MBA program, either at campuses in Atlanta, Georgia, or Madison, Wisconsin, or through online courses in their home countries. The scholarship covers MBA tuition fees, while accommodation expenses during the program are covered by WEF. However, travel costs, book expenses, and monthly stipends are not included.
Intended for hardworking postgraduate students with a strong command of English, the scholarship seeks to empower individuals who aspire to transform their lives and contribute to reshaping the economic future of their home countries. The WEF-Herzing University Scholars Cohort 2017-2019 successfully launched the MBA Scholarship Program, with ten selected students, six of whom have already commenced their studies in Atlanta, GA. These students, representing marginalized communities in Tajikistan and Pakistan, receive full-tuition scholarships from Herzing University, along with residential scholarships from WEF. The program also includes special career mentoring sessions, aiming to cultivate these students as catalysts for economic and social uplift in their communities.
