Location: Chitral Upper, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
Education is more than lessons—it is the key to breaking cycles of poverty. In Chitral, Pakistan many children were at risk of leaving school too soon. But thanks to your generous support, Worldwide Education Fund (WEF) Secondary School Scholarship Program is keeping doors open and dreams alive for students across the region.
Through your kindness and partnership, we are able to provide scholarships that cover tuition fees for 115 students from five different schools. These scholarships are not just about easing financial burdens; they are about honoring the sacrifices families are already making to prioritize education. Many parents continue to send their children to school even when it means cutting back on basic necessities like healthcare. By covering tuition, this program frees up precious resources for families to meet other essential needs, without forcing them to choose between education and survival.

These are not just numbers — they are stories of resilience and hope. We see young individuals with dreams and untapped potential, who now have the chance to believe in themselves again. For many, this scholarship means far more than financial relief. It represents dignity, encouragement, and a future they once thought was out of reach.
WEF has a long track record of advancing education globally, while FES brings decades of grassroots experience in Chitral. Together, they form a strong partnership that ensures the program is both effective and deeply connected to local realities.
With gratitude from our team, and especially from 115 bright students, whose dreams you have made brighter—thank you.
